Hotel Maruchu CENTRO

I stayed for 2 nights.It felt like I finally found the Hotel I’d been looking for.I often visit Tokyo and have stayed at many Hotels and capsule hotels—here’s what I thought:- Since I’m out most of the time (not relaxing in the Room), it’s perfect if you just need a place to sleep!- It’s a private Room with a lock, so I no longer had to worry about noise like I did in a capsule—such a relief!- With capsule stays, even on a Multiple Night Stay you usually have to leave once for cleaning. Here, that wasn’t necessary, and I could keep my luggage spread out in the Room!- The Room is compact (about 3 tatami mats). I couldn’t picture that size when making my Reservation, but there was no wasted space and everything was within easy reach!- The Room has a window, so it didn’t feel cramped!- There are five restrooms, and they were clean throughout my stay!- There is a women-only floor, which made me feel safe!- The large public bath was spacious and clean!- There are also shower booths. Since the large public bath operates on alternating schedules, it was great to be able to use the showers freely!- It seemed front desk staff rotated by shift, but everyone greeted me with a smile and was very helpful!- It’s close to the station, so even with a suitcase it wasn’t difficult at all!- There’s also coin laundry inside the Hotel!- The price is about the same as a capsule hotel!Honestly… this is highly recommended for travelers who plan to be out exploring most of the time!

I stayed for two nights in April.The Room is private, while the toilets and washbasins are shared on each floor. There is one large bath and two shower rooms (?) behind the front desk on the 1st floor, and the bath is available by time slots for men and women. During the women-only hours, it seems to be secured with a PIN lock (I’m male, so I’m not sure of the exact procedure).I was wondering how to keep my belongings safe when using the bath, but there are key-operated lockers like those at many day-use bath facilities, which made me feel at ease.Thank you.
