I booked our stay for the last day of Golden Week on Yahoo Travel two days in advance. It was a staff-selected Room and there was only one left, but it was a Japanese-Western style Room with two separate rooms and a unit bath, so my wife, who has some difficulty with her legs, was very satisfied.Dinner was delicious and satisfying, though it felt a little small for a man. The breakfast buffet offered both Japanese and Western options, and it was fun to make your own seafood rice bowl or sashimi set meal. The baths had two types—hot and lukewarm—and there was also a sauna, so I went in four times. The staff service, Facilities, and amenities were all satisfactory. However, the Room lighting did not support dimming, so it sometimes felt dark. This was our first time staying on Awaji Island, and my wife and I are already talking about staying again next time.
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 5/8/2026We stayed on the Friday and Saturday right after Golden Week. Thanks to that, there were fewer guests and we were able to spend a quiet time. The Room is undeniably old, but it has been renovated, with a Western-style bedroom with beds and a tatami Japanese-style room with the sliding doors removed, which made it very relaxing. We chose this Hotel because we wanted to stay on the east side in order to drive around Awaji Island. We could also enjoy the bath at a leisurely pace, and the sauna felt like it was for private use.Dinner was not a buffet but more like a small kaiseki-style meal, and we were satisfied. The mini Awaji beef steak was a bit disappointing as it was quite chewy. One of our highlights—the sunrise—was completely blocked by the Hotel in front of us, so we couldn’t see it at all. We should have gone outside.Starting breakfast at 7:30 is rather late; I think this is something to improve in order not to dampen guests’ eagerness to head out sightseeing.Overall, we felt it was a good Hotel with friendly staff and excellent value for money.
