Surrounded by the natural beauty of the four seasons, our Property offers Onsen with skin-beautifying effects and our specialty "Hasu-yu" (lotus bath). One of the highlights is the scenery featuring the satoyama of Minami-Echizen Town and the backdrop of Somayama Castle. Our spacious garden open-air bath is one of the largest in Fukui Prefecture, providing a liberating experience as if you are one with the mountains. Additionally, we offer "Hasu-yu" infused with lotus extract, as well as a sauna and cold bath. Accommodations include spacious 12-tatami mat Japanese-style rooms, with options for rooms featuring private open-air baths. Guests can also enjoy unique dining experiences with specialties such as "Hasu Udon" and "Hasu Wine," exclusive to our Property.
Most surprising of all was how delicious the meals were. After we were already full, they brought out dessert, and there was so much that we couldn’t believe it—very satisfying. Although the Facility is old, the food made everything OK. The lotus flowers next door were also in full bloom and very beautiful.
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 8/9/2026There are quite a few Accommodations like this in Fukui, aren’t there? I’ve stayed at La Beauce, Taisou no Mori, Somayama, and Sukatto Land (now closed). I’ve also visited day-use Onsen facilities such as Centpia and Nami no Hana. I’ve been very satisfied with all of them. They’re clean and comfortable, the meals are great value and delicious, and the staff are pleasantly attentive. Of course, the Onsen is wonderful too—I really love it. Comfortable Accommodations and relaxing day-use Onsen visits.

"Hana Hasu Onsen" is located in the rural mountains of Minami-Echizen Town, backed by the historic "Soma-yamajo" castle. Adjacent to "Hana Hasu Park," where you can enjoy blooming lotus flowers in summer, this Property offers year-round unique experiences such as lotus baths infused with lotus essence and specialty dishes like "lotus udon" and "lotus wine" at its Facility.
Lotus Festival
During the annual summer Lotus Festival, over 100 varieties of lotus flowers bloom every morning, attracting many visitors each year. In autumn, enjoy a peaceful moment in the open-air bath while gazing at the beautifully colored Mt. Soma. In winter, savor dishes featuring "Echizen Crab," a specialty of Fukui. Conveniently located just 5 minutes by car from the Nanjo SA, a key transportation hub near the Hokkokukaido "Imajuku." This Property is surrounded by rich nature and offers a quiet stay, with facilities such as tennis courts, a park, and a BBQ area.
Open-air bath
A mildly alkaline Onsen with a silky and soft texture. The spacious open-air bath in the garden, harmonized with the surrounding mountains, is the largest in Fukui Prefecture. Enjoy seasonal relaxation in the "lying bath" while gazing at the stars. In addition to the large communal bath, the "lotus bath" with lotus extract is available year-round, along with a sauna and cold bath. This Onsen is renowned for its benefits in enhancing skin beauty and promoting health.
