Enjoy a culinary journey at this 70-year-old kappo Ryokan, savoring tiger pufferfish, whale, monkfish, and sea urchin. You can also use our private bath with an artificial Onsen bicarbonate spring. In 2018, we added a new private bath building featuring wallpaper that covers an entire wall, depicting Shimonoseki’s sightseeing spots and scenes from the famous Kanmon Straits Fireworks Festival. Relax in traditional Japanese-style rooms and enjoy the fresh scent of tatami while indulging in delicious local ingredients. We also offer picture books and toys for children to borrow, as well as baby cribs and bath toys.

After filleting, we let it rest in the refrigerator for around two days before serving. <Condiments> Yasuoka green onions from Shimonoseki have long been used as a traditional garnish for fugu dishes. We also use plenty of Yasuoka green onions. Please enjoy our carefully curated fugu course.
