  • [From June 2026] Notice of the Introduction of the Nagano Prefecture Accommodation Tax

    Thank you very much for your continued patronage of Shiga Kogen Hotel Takimoto.

    Starting with stays on Monday, June 1, 2026, Nagano Prefecture will introduce an Accommodation Tax to support the development of sustainable tourism destinations.
    Accordingly, for stays with an Accommodation Fee of JPY 6,000 or more (before tax), we will collect an additional JPY 200 per person per night on-site. Thank you for your understanding.

    *The “Accommodation Fee” refers to the No Meals Included rate per person per night and the associated Service Fee, excluding meal charges, consumption tax, Hot Spring Tax, and other taxes/fees.*

    Hotel Takimoto stands at an altitude of 1,670 m, offering beautiful views of Shiga Kogen.
    In winter, experience Shiga Kogen’s world-class powder snow!

    We are currently selling Plans for the next winter season (from December 2026): a 5-night-or-more Plan and a 3-night-or-more Plan. Multiple Night Stay Plans are available at special rates, so please check them out.
    As this is an all-inclusive Plan, you can relax and enjoy food and drinks after snow sports or on days you simply unwind at the Hotel.
