Our accommodation, Hida Furukawa Togenkyo Onsen, is the only place in Hida Furukawa with its own natural hot spring source. For meals, our chef carefully selects premium ingredients such as Hida beef and an array of fresh vegetables and mountain plants from the satoyama region to craft each dish with care. The "Hida Furukawa Peach Blossom Onsen," sourced from 1,000 meters underground in the idyllic countryside of peach and apple orchards, is the private hot spring of Hotel Kikori. Beyond our front desk, you will find a courtyard filled with the abundant nature of the satoyama landscape. Additionally, right next to our facility lies the beautiful "Asagiri Forest," lush with towering katsura trees, where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll while discovering wild medicinal herbs.
Every year on January 15, Hida-Furukawa hosts the unique traditional event “Santera Mairi,” a custom that has continued for over 200 years.
Dinner on this day will start for all guests at the same time, from 17:00.
