Notice from the Accommodation

  • New Open-Air Bath Suites Now Available

Enjoy Karuizawa sightseeing and natural Onsen in one trip. Nunobiki Onsen Komoro unveils the second phase of its major renovation.

A New Base for “Onsen Retreat × Whisky Tourism” Stays
Nobiki Onsen Komoro, an Accommodation in Komoro City, Nagano Prefecture, has completed the second phase of a major renovation, adding three Japanese-Western suites over 70 m² and two Japanese-Western suites with open-air baths.

This renovation introduces spacious guest rooms designed to meet a wide range of stay needs—not only for couples, but also for three-generation trips and multi-family travel, as well as corporate training programs and wellness retreats.

In recent years, while luxury Hotels and villas have been increasingly developed in the Karuizawa area, there are still limited options for large groups to relax together in the same space.

Nobiki Onsen Komoro offers a stay experience where you can share meaningful time with family and friends through breathtaking views of Mt. Asama, natural Onsen hot springs, and generously sized rooms.

  • Therapeutic Hot Spring

    Wellness Tourism

Nubiki Onsen is a hot spring destination long cherished by local residents and travelers, returning to the roots of what an Onsen town should be. The natural spring water is mildly alkaline with a gentle feel on the skin, and it has also been used as a therapeutic spring. As the global wellness tourism market continues to grow, we have reexamined the true value of an Onsen Accommodation. “Not just a place to stay, but a place to restore body and mind and regain energy for tomorrow.” This renewal brings that philosophy to life.

At Nunobiki Onsen Komoro, we also offer accommodation plans in collaboration with the nearby Komoro Distillery. By combining a distillery tour and tasting experience with a special lunch served at the distillery’s restaurant, we propose a stay where you can enjoy Shinshu’s nature and food culture, along with its whisky culture.
