The open-air bath "Umikaze no Yu" offers a liberating space with a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean, perfect for relieving daily fatigue. Each Room is equipped with Simmons beds and provides a spacious area of over 28 square meters. From the ocean-view Rooms, you can enjoy the scenery of coastal ranches and the expansive blue sea, while the mountain-side Rooms offer views of Hachijo-Fuji and lush greenery. At the restaurant "Tartaruga," you can savor dishes made with plenty of ingredients sourced from Hachijojima.
My spouse and I stayed here from August 8 to 10. Since it was during summer vacation, there were various events. What we especially appreciated was the life jacket rental (cheaper than renting at the beach) and the stargazing.The stargazing was easy to join with no Reservation required and free entry/exit. There was also a guide who explained what we were seeing, so we could identify Scorpius, the Milky Way, Cassiopeia, and more under a sky full of stars—it was truly moving.All of the staff were not only kind but also friendly and easy to talk to, and chatting with them was a lot of fun.It’s an Accommodation that made us want to come back!
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 8/12/2026We watched the movie in advance and had fun saying, “This is where Conan, Ran, and Ai did that scene.”We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast buffet featuring Jersey dairy specialties delivered directly from the on-site farm.We stayed for two nights, and each evening we enjoyed a different kaiseki dinner, so it never got repetitive.Unfortunately, we couldn’t enjoy stargazing because of rainy weather, but we made the most of our time with table tennis and the open-air bath.The highlight of our trip was hiking around Hachijo-Fuji’s crater rim. Proper gear and a Reservation with a nature guide are essential, but we were truly moved by the breathtaking views from the summit.

The open-air bath "Umikaze no Yu" is one of the prides of our Hotel. This open-air bath offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean, providing a sense of liberation that gently melts away your daily fatigue. Enjoy a soothing time while feeling the refreshing sea breeze blowing from the vast ocean. We also have a tatami-matted relaxation space where you can cool down and unwind after your bath. *The large public bath is located on the basement floor (B1). Please note that there is no elevator. *Generally, there is no alternation between the men's and women's baths. Operating hours: 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM / 4:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Ocean View Restaurant ~Tartaruga~
The main dining "Tartaruga (Sea Turtle)" is an ocean-view restaurant with 140 seats, offering a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean through its windows. We serve unique dishes featuring vegetables and seafood from Hachijo Island, as well as fresh Jersey milk. A private banquet room (40 seats) is also available. Breakfast hours: 7:00~9:00 / Dinner hours: 18:00~22:00.
