A 10-minute walk from JR Beppu Station, this Onsen Accommodation faces Beppu Bay. The only scenic private open-air bath in Beppu (Tenku Yubo; fee applies) is available in four separate baths, offering spectacular views over Beppu Bay. For dinner, we serve kaiseki cuisine featuring Oita specialties, and for breakfast, a hearty Ryokan-style Japanese set meal. On the top 6th floor, we offer Japanese-style rooms with a footbath—rare even across The whole country—so you can enjoy the footbath at your leisure along with the panoramic view right before you.
Family stay for four, including two children. Conveniently located. The building and room show some age but have been renovated, so no issues. The facility is well-maintained. Meals are delicious and generously portioned. Guests can also use the onsen of the affiliated facilities, making it possible to enjoy a hot spring tour. Would love to stay here again when visiting Beppu!
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 1/11/2026The reason for choosing this accommodation was the stylish entrance and its convenient location near the dining area (Takegawara Onsen). The meals were satisfying, but if I may make a suggestion, it was disappointing that neither the private room for dinner nor the large hall for breakfast had a sea view (dinner was in darkness, and breakfast was in a large hall with no outside view). I had been looking forward to enjoying breakfast with an ocean view after dinner, so it was quite disappointing. Perhaps reversing the settings—having dinner in the large hall since there’s no sea view at night anyway, and having breakfast in a private room with an ocean view—would have been better. Being so close to the sea, incorporating more opportunities to enjoy ocean views would enhance the experience. Additionally, while I had seen photos of the public bath beforehand, it would have been perfect if it were slightly larger or included an open-air bath. Overall, this is a clean and well-maintained accommodation that left me very satisfied.
