Located on a hill in Toba, our facility is a 15-minute walk to Toba Bay and a 30-minute drive to Ise Jingu. As a gateway to Ise Jingu, we have welcomed visitors from around the world for centuries. Enjoy the stunning views of Toba Bay in the morning and evening, fresh seafood from Ise-Shima, and our natural Onsen open-air baths. For dinner, we offer a variety of local seafood, including Ise lobster. Breakfast is served buffet-style in a restaurant overlooking Toba Bay, featuring local specialties such as Ise lobster miso soup and Ise udon. Our pride, the natural Onsen, can be enjoyed in two distinct bath areas: the "Panoramic Bath" on the sea side and the "Garden Open-Air Bath" on the mountain side. Additionally, the nature-rich park on our premises, "Medaka no Gakko," is popular with families, offering opportunities to observe medaka fish and fireflies.
At dinner, the proprietress came to speak with us, and when we mentioned our 30th wedding anniversary, she gave us a wonderful handwritten gift that truly moved us. We were so happy. We have it proudly displayed at home. The unexpected present became a very special memory.\nThe views from the Room and the dining area were exceptional as well.\nAt breakfast, we also had the chance to chat with a staff member from our hometown. We stayed for one night and two days on a trip with our child.First of all, the kids’ area was great! Our child never got bored.The large public bath during the day was quite hot, so our child couldn’t really get in. At night, we gave up on the open-air bath as soon as we stepped outside because there seemed to be lots of stink bugs (haha). We were able to use the open-air bath in the morning.Both dinner and breakfast were delicious!The kids’ meal at dinner was a generous portion, and together with our meal we were completely full. Since we were traveling with a child, they kindly prepared a private room for us, which we really appreciated. Our child couldn’t sit still, so we ate quickly at both breakfast and dinner, but even so the food was excellent. The extra spiny lobster was amazing.The Room was clean, though it was a bit tricky to adjust the air conditioning.The staff were warm and welcoming, which made us happy. The handkerchief given at send-off was lovely.We were very satisfied with this Accommodation for a family trip with a child, and would love to stay again.

Medaka School
"Medaka no Gakko" is a nature-rich park within the grounds of Senpokaku, themed around "play and learning." The path to Senpokaku is a gentle slope, allowing you to leisurely enjoy a nature walk. At the top of the slope, you will be greeted by a breathtaking panoramic view of Toba Bay, selected as one of the Toba Ten Views. The park features "Medaka Pond," with clean water where not only medaka fish but also fireflies thrive, a hilltop "foot bath," and a "wisteria trellis" that blooms beautifully every year. It is a space where both adults and children can relax and feel at ease amidst nature.
The pool will be open from July 10 to August 31.

You may also use the pool before check-in and after check-out.
The pool depth is 110 cm.
Children are welcome, but please ensure they are supervised by a parent or guardian for safe and comfortable use.
