The property, reopened in 2019, offers a variety of enjoyable features such as a large bath with natural hot spring water, foot baths, colorful yukata rentals, and a Japanese sake bar, suitable for three generations of families. Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and you can choose your favorite yukata pattern from a wide range of colors. From rooms with beds in a Japanese-style setting, you can enjoy the large garden that changes with the seasons. Breakfast includes the "Fuurinya Picnic Morning," allowing you to create your own unique breakfast.
All the staff were kind, and the property was clean. The Hotel did feel a bit dated. Breakfast and dinner were both very delicious—much better than I expected for the price. The Niigata rice was especially good. The complimentary snacks and drinks in the lounge were also nice. Roasting marshmallows over the irori at night was fun.The large public bath and open-air bath, fed by a private hot spring source, were excellent as well. However, it seemed a little different from Tsukioka Onsen’s typical emerald-green water with a thin oily film on the surface. Maybe there is a lot of added water? I’m not sure. Even so, considering the value for money, meals, various services, and how kind the staff were, I think it’s a good Hotel.Thank you for taking care of us.The town area of Tsukioka Onsen is beautifully maintained and very pleasant. It’s an Onsen I would definitely like to visit again.
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 7/22/2026Although the exterior and interior feel a bit dated, the Rooms were thoroughly cleaned and we had a comfortable stay.If I could ask for anything, it would be having two Room keys, and having a basket to use when going to the bath.What makes Fuurinya so great is their excellent hospitality.The woman at reception was very pleasant, attentive to details, and kindly spoke to us. Everyone else was also very friendly, making this an Accommodation we’d love to visit again.The kaiseki dinner was also delicious, with well-balanced flavors throughout. The dining area overlooked the garden, and the chairs were very comfortable.The Onsen left our skin smooth, and the water was soft and wonderful.A Hotel with warm-hearted staff really is special. We’d love to return.
