The Anrakujima Onsen, emerging from 1500 meters underground, is a simple alkaline onsen with a PH of 9.3, available in open-air baths, foot baths, and large communal baths. Rooms come in four types: Japanese + Western, Japanese-Western, Japanese (with bed), and Japanese, all offering views of the serene Toba Bay. Additionally, you can unwind in a bath made from a sacred tree aged two thousand years.
The staff’s hospitality was truly outstanding, and I felt comfortable from arrival to departure. Every staff member was kind and attentive, with thoughtful care even in the smallest details. This warm service is a major highlight of this Hotel. I would definitely stay again next time.
