I treated myself to a stay here. The simmered blackthroat seaperch was incredibly delicious, there was plenty of food, and it paired perfectly with the local sake. I was able to relax in a private room, the value for money was great, and I’d love to come again. Thank you very much!
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 7/30/2026We chose this Accommodation for a relaxing trip as a couple—Yamashiro Onsen in the Kaga Onsen area. It was our first stay here. It is a little away from the main street, and the exterior felt somewhat old. Our Room was “Mebae” (special room), a Japanese-Western style room with a semi-open-air bath fed by free-flowing natural hot spring water, and it was truly relaxing. Dinner and breakfast were served in the private dining room “Saikaan.” Dinner consisted of 11 dishes. The seasonal appetizers included six items such as my favorite mozuku vinegar and satoimo (taro) simmered in Dutch-style sauce. The grilled dish was perfect for summer: layered potatoes and salmon with an edamame sauce. The rice was glossy Koshihikari, and my wife was completely satisfied with everything. The food quality is beyond reproach. There is also a footbath in front of the Accommodation, and the Onsen is a simple alkaline hot spring; my wife soaked many times and said her skin became beautifully smooth and radiant. There are no facilities like karaoke or play equipment inside, so it’s ideal for those who want to enjoy the Onsen at a leisurely pace.
