  • A Ryokan with a wonderful atmosphere

    We stayed at this Ryokan for my parents’ therapeutic hot-spring retreat.It’s a Ryokan that’s difficult to reach without a car, but it had a wonderful atmosphere.The staff were especially kind, and we truly enjoyed our stay.My elderly parents were delighted with the nostalgic Japanese-style room.There are many stairs inside the Accommodation, and my father, whose legs have started to weaken, had a bit of difficulty walking around the building.We had breakfast, and it was delicious Japanese food that left us completely full.

    Thank you for your hospitality during our stay. The staff provided excellent service with a polite and respectful attitude. Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious. The "nameko mushrooms" were crisp and fresh, showcasing the quality of local ingredients, which was truly impressive. The creative dishes delighted both the eyes and the palate. The room was well-prepared, allowing us to relax comfortably, and we enjoyed the 24-hour access to the onsen without worrying about time. This is an onsen accommodation we would love to visit again. About Hygiene Measures
At Nakaya Annex Fudokaku, we are committed to implementing enhanced hygiene measures and preventive actions in accordance with the "Accommodation COVID-19 Response Guidelines (1st Edition)" and our own hygiene response manual. 1. In addition to regular cleaning, we conduct periodic disinfection and sterilization of handrails, doorknobs, etc., as well as ventilation. 2. Our staff wear sanitary masks while on duty. 3. Staff measure their temperature before reporting to work and strictly follow handwashing and hand sanitization protocols based on our operational manual. 4. We provide each guest with a personal disinfectant spray bottle for use within the accommodation. 5. To minimize staff entry into guest rooms, bedding is pre-set in advance. Tea sets or amenities can be replaced upon request. 6. Dining areas have been arranged with wider seating intervals, considering seat layouts for safety. Ventilation and thorough hand sanitization upon entry are also enforced. 7. Other hygiene measures are implemented in strict adherence to the "Accommodation COVID-19 Response Guidelines (1st Edition)."
