On a long-awaited trip to Izumo Taisha, I wanted to stay at a Hotel near Matsue Castle, so I chose this Accommodation. I arrived a little early, but the pleasant service left a great first impression. When I entered the Room, I found it had been renovated and was very clean and beautiful. The view from the window wasn’t Lake Shinji, but I was happy to see Matsue Castle clearly.I was really looking forward to the sunset over Lake Shinji, but unfortunately it was cloudy... I waited until 6:00 p.m., but sadly couldn’t see it.Before dinner, I used the bath facilities. The changing area and baths were very clean, and the open-air bath was spacious and comfortable.To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much from the food... but it was surprisingly delicious—especially the shijimi clam soup! It truly impressed me. While buffet-style dining is common these days, I was satisfied that we could relax and enjoy our meal at our table.Breakfast was half buffet-style, but there were many small dishes neatly packed into a bento box-style tray, and everything tasted great.Thank you very much. Starting with the front desk staff, everyone’s hospitality made me feel truly comfortable. It’s a Hotel where I would definitely like to stay again!!
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 9/27/2026This was my second Accommodation on this trip. After spending the afternoon walking around Gessho-ji Temple and Matsue Castle, I headed to the Onsen first to relax. The large public bath and the open-air bath aren’t especially unique in design, but I was able to enjoy the Onsen quietly. The lakeside Room offers a wide, open view—though the weather turned gloomy and rainy. I enjoyed the lakeside night view, and the rain-soaked lakeshore the next morning was also a lovely sight. It’s located near Matsue-Shinjiko-Onsen Station, making it very convenient for strolling around the Matsue Castle area (as long as you’re comfortable walking...).
