The Onsen water was originally great, but when I stayed again after a long time, it had improved even more. It was already silky-smooth, but this time it also had a stronger sulfur feel and a milky-white appearance—absolutely wonderful. (Just my personal impression.) The natural hot spring source was amazing. Although the drainage was a bit slow, thank you for responding promptly.

The renowned Onsen "Unagi-yu" boasts a history of over 300 years. With its smooth, lotion-like texture, it fulfills all the conditions of a "beauty-enhancing bath," making it an exceptional Onsen highly cherished, especially by women.
We offer a variety of Rooms tailored to your stay. With family, friends, or as a couple... We provide moments of relaxation where you can forget the time.
New private dining rooms are now open. The former banquet area has been renovated into private dining rooms, and all guests will be guided to these private spaces.
We offer morning coffee in the space next to the front desk. It is self-service, so please help yourself. Lids, sugar, and milk are also self-service. You are welcome to take it back to your Room. We have set up tables and chairs in the space next to the front desk. Please use it for a short relaxation time after meals or baths.
As part of our COVID-19 prevention measures, we have prepared the following to ensure that your belongings do not come into direct contact with shared spaces: 1) At the front desk, we will provide one bag per guest. Please use it to carry your change of clothes, yukata, etc., when moving to the Onsen. It is also convenient for carrying small items when heading to the dining area. Please return the bag to the front desk along with your key upon checkout the next day. 2) Upon check-in, each guest will receive one yukata in their size, placed in a tote bag at the front desk. (This eliminates the issue of not finding a yukata in the right size in your Room.) 3) The Shunjyuan original tote bag is available for purchase at the shop for 1,200 yen (tax included).
