Hotel Gasthof

I missed the last bus after working late and arrived around 10:30 PM. In the city there were still buses at that time, but I couldn’t make it.The sauna was fully booked, so I looked for a budget option and found this place near the station. Even though it was a triple Room, it was cheaper than APA.They had tea, ice, water, and a teapot set, which was very convenient.It also helped that I could borrow a phone charger at the front desk.They offer a breakfast buffet, so I’d like to try it next time. It smelled great, and if I’d had time I would have eaten it. Recommended.It’s nice that you can drink shochu inside until late at night.I’ll come again—thank you.

Close to the station and very convenient.The interior was lovely, with an antique feel that reminded me of an old European Hotel. However, the bathtub in my Room was a bit different, haha.The bathroom faucet also had an antique-style handle, and it had been a while since I’d seen anything other than a lever type in a Hotel.The door key also felt retro, which I liked.Breakfast included chicken rice, and the satsuma-age was delicious.If I have the chance to visit Kagoshima again, I’d like to stay here again.Thank you very much for your hospitality.
