An Accommodation awarded the Ecotourism Grand Prize “Special Award,” featuring a Nature Guide Station with certified guides on-site to help you fully enjoy the stunning nature of Hachimantai. The signature dish is thick-cut roast beef made from domestic beef, slowly baked in a stone oven. We also serve dishes using Iwate’s premium branded ingredients. We offer a 66 m² suite furnished with Western-style furniture; with a separate living area, you can relax in greater comfort. From the open-air bath overlooking a panoramic wilderness, take in Hachimantai’s ever-changing beauty through all four seasons.
This is my favorite Hotel, which I visit about twice a year. You can relax and unwind surrounded by nature. At night, if the sky is clear, you can see countless stars from the parking lot. The Onsen also has an open-air bath, and it was wonderfully relaxing. Meals are served buffet-style, and dinner in particular features many local ingredients. I enjoyed freshly prepared roast beef and tempura. The cold noodles were also delicious; I asked where they were sold and stopped by on the way home to buy some. For breakfast, I especially loved the yogurt—when I learned it was from a farm in Iwate, I visited there as well. Although our Room was assigned for us, it was spacious, which was great since we had a lot of luggage this time. Overall, it exceeded my expectations for the price.
