[3-minute walk to Dogo Onsen Honkan] A Meiji-era retro Accommodation chosen for birthdays and anniversaries, where you can enjoy gourmet dining and an open-air garden bath.

The soaring lobby features tasteful lighting and camellia-patterned carpets, creating a nostalgic Meiji-era atmosphere. For dinner, choose from a wide variety buffet or a kaiseki course showcasing seasonal Setouchi flavors. Enjoy Onsen water brought in from Dogo Onsen in the open-air bath surrounded by a Japanese garden and in the large public bath. In the evening, don’t miss the powerful Suigun Taiko drum performance. Recommended for families, couples, and married pairs visiting Dogo Onsen.

  • The staff’s hospitality, the cleanliness of the Room, the delicious meals, and the large public bath—everything was wonderful, and we had a truly lovely time. They even lent us towels and parasols for going to the outside baths, and we really appreciated their thoughtful attention to every detail. I had always wanted to try “tap” mandarin orange juice, but I never expected to experience it at a Hotel—what a delightful surprise. Every dish in the kaiseki dinner was delicious. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of items, all of them tasty, and our child was thrilled and ate plenty as well. If we have another chance to stay in Dogo Onsen, we would definitely like to stay here again! Thank you very much for such a wonderful time.

  • The barrier-free Room was very easy to use as we stayed with an elderly guest, and although there were four beds in the Room, it was spacious and comfortable. Since we stayed in the Tsubaki Wing, the corridors were fully carpeted with a camellia-inspired design, which was beautiful and vibrant. Meals were buffet-style, and having a service cart was convenient; for dinner, there was plenty of fresh sashimi and it was delicious. The salad with abalone was also light and refreshing for summer. Breakfast was also a buffet, but it was extremely crowded during the Obon season—I would like to see time limits or other measures put in place.
