    Starting in June 2026, Nagano Prefecture will introduce an Accommodation Tax.
    As outlined below, payment of the Accommodation Tax will be required separately.

    Stays on or after June 1, 2026
    JPY 200 per guest for guests with an Accommodation Fee of JPY 6,000 or more (excluding tax)

    Stays on or after June 1, 2029 (three years after introduction)
    JPY 300 per guest for guests with an Accommodation Fee of JPY 6,000 or more (excluding tax)

    *The Accommodation Fee refers to the room-only rate and does not include breakfast, parking fees, etc.
