A secluded Accommodation founded in 1897, nestled in the heart of the Kiso Mountains and surrounded by abundant nature. Relax and unwind with Kiso-Fukushima’s only private hot spring source and an open-air herbal bath. In the evening, we offer a free stargazing tour for guests year-round. Enjoy the Kiso night sky as it changes with each season. For dining, we serve local specialties unique to Kiso and Shinshu, featuring blessings from the mountains and rivers. With seasonal scenery, Onsen, starry skies, and regional flavors, enjoy a quiet mountain village stay away from everyday life.
As we were traveling by train, the pick-up and drop-off service was greatly appreciated. Relaxing in a spacious, spotless traditional Japanese-style Room while enjoying tea and kintsuba was wonderful. We headed to the Onsen right away, and both the indoor bath and the herbal open-air bath were so relaxing that all our walking fatigue melted away—it was truly refreshing. The meal kept coming with dish after dish featuring local ingredients; by the time we got to the stem wasabi soba, we were already full and had to pass on the rice and soup. The dumpling soup at breakfast was also delicious. Thank you for the wonderful meal. Early in the morning, from our Room window, Mt. Ontake was glowing in the sunrise... It turned into an absolutely wonderful trip. Thank you very much (bow).
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 9/23/2026I visited Narai-juku for sightseeing and stayed at Koma-no-Yu.It is a secluded hot spring, and the surroundings are quiet.The forest bathing was soothing.Koma-no-Yu puts great care into the cuisine and offers many dishes, and everything I tried was delicious.The refined seasoning made for a highly satisfying meal.

Founded in 1897, Koma-no-Yu has been the only Onsen Accommodation along the historic Kiso Old Road—opened more than 800 years ago and once traveled by Yoshinaka Kiso on his journeys to and from Kyoto—carrying forward over a century of tradition.
