The spring water quality is said to be beneficial for cold sensitivity, rheumatism, and women's health issues.
The Onsen water quality was excellent. The seasonal kaiseki cuisine also lived up to its reputation and was wonderful. Nearby, many guests were enjoying river activities and BBQs, which was fun to watch as well. During the wait before check-in, we took a short walk in the mountains and found it cool and comfortable even in summer. It has become one of the places we would like to visit again if we have the chance.

It offers just the right setting to enjoy an extraordinary escape with the ease of going out to see a movie.I made a Reservation at this Accommodation—one we have stayed at several times before—to coincide with my mother’s 88th birthday. As I run an inn myself and can’t return to Osaka during peak season, I sent her beiju (88th birthday) gifts to Minamitei in advance and asked that they be placed on the dinner table; it seems they even prepared a private room for us. The surprise anniversary was a great success, and I received a video from our companions showing my mother trembling with joy.I’m truly grateful for the thoughtful care of all the staff.We will continue to stay here often.
