Located in the Gion district, which retains the history and charm of Hakata, this classic hotel offers a Showa retro feel. With excellent access to the Hakata and Nakasu areas, it is ideal not only for business but also for tourism and events.
It was conveniently located near Hakata Station and reasonably priced.The Facility is a bit old, but it was kept clean, and even though I stayed with No Meals Included, I was satisfied.A nearby shochu izakaya was also great.

There’s only one elevator, you leave an old-style key at the front desk, the air conditioning is centralized with simple H/L buttons, and the shower uses a mixer tap with no temperature setting… but everything was kept quite clean.The staff at the front desk and restaurant were pleasant. For breakfast you can choose Japanese or Western; I chose Japanese, and you can get refills of rice, miso soup, natto, and drinks. The Saikyo-style grilled salmon was especially delicious.With Hotel prices rising these days, I really appreciated being able to stay at a reasonable rate with breakfast included despite being close to Hakata Station and Gion Station.
