Hotel Gozensui

Although it was listed as a “room with minor issues,” the Japanese-style room faced the lake and offered a great view, and we were very satisfied with both the Onsen and the meals.Due to the sudden brown bear incident at Mt. Rausu, we needed a last-minute Reservation, and their flexibility was a huge help.

Our plans came together at the last minute, and after searching everywhere, everything was over our budget. We booked because it was a “Room with minor issues” and fit within our budget. To be honest, we didn’t have high expectations, but although there was no lake view, it didn’t bother us at all. The Room was clean, and for this price we were able to stay comfortably—everything was taken care of for us—so my fellow homemaker friends and I could truly relax. It turned into a very enjoyable trip.The meals were delicious, the Onsen was wonderful, and all the staff were very kind and helpful.If I had to mention one thing, I wish there had been a wider variety of shampoo, conditioner, and body soap in the bath.Other than that, we had no complaints and enjoyed a great time.
