It was a charming and wonderful Ryokan. The staff member who assisted us was courteous, gave clear explanations, and provided pleasant service. The Room had been renovated and was spacious enough. The toilet and shower were separate, everything was kept very clean, and the amenities were well stocked. There was a kettle with hot water as well as a water pot, and two types of teacups, glasses, and more were provided. We could really feel the thoughtful hospitality in every detail. The location was also very convenient, close to Izumo Taisha Shrine.

The staff were very kind, and I felt truly comfortable throughout my stay.The Room was a Japanese-style room, and as soon as I entered, the lovely scent of tatami made me feel relaxed.I had both dinner and breakfast, and everything was delicious—I finished it all.I mainly used the in-room bath. Having the bath and toilet separated is amazing! That was actually one of the reasons I chose this place.I also visited the Onsen once. The water was fantastic. What I thought was especially great service was that they offered not only the standard shampoo provided, but also various brands of shampoo you can try—something many women will appreciate.When I visit Izumo Taisha again, I’d love to stay here again. Thank you very much.

Our Ryokan was established in the late Edo period and has been serving as a place of lodging for visitors and worshippers of Izumo Taisha since the Meiji era, fulfilling the role of "Oshi" (a guide and caretaker for shrine worship). Located near the serene sacred grounds along the "Path of the Gods," we are proud to offer the only Onsen in the area, as well as a garden view that can be enjoyed from our guest rooms and banquet halls. Within our Ryokan, you will find a nostalgic atmosphere where time flows quietly and peacefully.
