Hotel Sun Garden Matsuyama

After sightseeing at Okaido and Matsuyama Castle, I arrived within walking distance. Near the front desk, you pick up essentials such as bathrobes and brushes to take to your Room. There is also a sake tasting service. On the second floor, there are massage chairs and a manga corner. There is also a limited-time drink bar where you can enjoy free sours and highballs. Mini ramen is available as well. With rental bicycles, it’s easy to access Dogo Onsen and nearby Kotobuki Onsen (Kotobuki Onsen is inexpensive). Breakfast was more than sufficient, with items like jakoten fish cakes and Pon Juice. This Hotel offered outstanding value for money, and the front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Although the property is somewhat old, it has individual air conditioning, everything was very clean, and the free breakfast even included jaco-ten—no complaints. If you rent a bicycle, downtown (Okaido and Matsuyama City Station) is close by, and Dogo Onsen is also nearby, though it’s a slight uphill ride.
