Hotel Route-Inn Nagasawa Numazu Inter 1

We almost always stay at Route Inn when we travel, and my spouse and I have been well taken care of. Although it’s small, there is a large public bath, which was a big help since I’m not comfortable with unit baths. It was a very nice Onsen. Having breakfast included is also helpful every time, especially when we have no familiarity with the area.What concerned me was that the Room wallpaper was peeling, and the air conditioner in the women’s changing area of the large public bath seemed to be turned off for energy saving because there are fewer female guests; I couldn’t find the remote control and wasn’t able to use it. At the very least, I would have liked this explained at check-in.For these reasons, I gave 4 stars.

This was our second stay as a couple. Considering the reasonable price, we were very satisfied with the heartfelt service from the staff, the relaxing bath that was not too crowded (except that one of the two showers in the women’s bath happened to be out of order), and the delicious breakfast. The location was also convenient—not too far from the nearest station and within walking distance of our destination this time. There was a supermarket nearby, making it easy to buy late-night snacks and daily necessities. Above all, we were lucky to see a brilliantly white Mt. Fuji up close from our Room window (helped by the good weather). We would like to stay again if we have another opportunity.
