[Notice] Introduction of the Accommodation Tax in Nagano Prefecture
Due to revisions to Nagano Prefecture ordinances, for stays on or after Monday, June 1, 2026, the following Accommodation Tax will be charged per person per night in addition to the Accommodation Fee.
■ June 1, 2026 – May 31, 2029: JPY 200 per person per night for stays with an Accommodation Fee of JPY 6,000 or more (before tax)
■ On or after June 1, 2029: JPY 300 per person per night for stays with an Accommodation Fee of JPY 6,000 or more (before tax)
* Even if you have already paid your accommodation charges in advance (e.g., by prepaying by card), you will still need to pay the Accommodation Tax separately at check-in.
* The Accommodation Tax may be exempted if certain conditions are met—such as educational/research activities including school trips—or community club activities associated with the regional expansion of junior high school club programs. To receive an exemption, please submit the required certificate to the Accommodation.

* For online Reservations, please note that consumption tax is included in the Accommodation Fee shown on screen; however, the Accommodation Tax is not included.
* Even if your Reservation was made before May 31, 2026, the Accommodation Tax will apply to stays on or after June 1.
