  • From check-in until our car left the Ryokan, the staff naturally came outside to welcome and see us off.I think there are very few Ryokan or Hotels that do this. The preparation of the futon bedding and in-Room dining was pleasant, and it made for a wonderful stay.Every dish was delicious, and the portions were very satisfying. If I had one request, I would be happy if there were a bit more local vegetables—especially for guests in their 50s like us.This may be a matter of preference, but I felt the miso soup would have been even better if it were served a little hotter.Similarly, I would have preferred the water in the large public bath to be slightly hotter. What impressed me most was how thoroughly everything was cleaned.Even at expensive Hotels or Ryokan, you often notice dust in hidden areas or peeling wallpaper and small flaws here and there, but everything visible was very clean. Precisely because it isn’t brand-new, it felt especially comfortable. It was my first stay here, but I feel like I got great value. My only concern is that many of the staff seemed to be around my age or a bit older, so I hope this Ryokan will continue for many years and be passed on to the next generation so guests can keep enjoying it.Thank you very much.

  • We stayed as a family of four after the New Year. Both dinner and breakfast featured fresh fish and were delicious. The private bath was clean, bright, and very satisfying.
