I visited Ishikawa Prefecture hoping for the recovery of the Noto Peninsula. I took a wrong turn and arrived late, but I truly appreciated your thoughtful consideration. Perhaps because it was a Sunday stay, I was able to use the private bath both at night and in the morning. It was wonderful to relax and enjoy a long soak. The meals were served in a semi-private dining area, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious—I was completely satisfied. The Room was clean, and I was able to spend my time comfortably. All of the staff were excellent, and I would definitely like to stay again.
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 5/19/2026• Guest Rooms & Amenities The Room I stayed in was spacious enough for three people. The TV does not support mirroring or YouTube, but it comes with many channels pre-registered. Free Wi‑Fi is also available, so you can use your smartphone without worry. There were plenty of amenities such as toner and brushes, and the yukata and bath basket bag were very cute.• Hospitality & Service The staff provided very polite service. Although the service ends early at 18:00, they still came to pick us up at Kaga-Onsen Station. For departure, they also offer drop-offs to the station about once every hour.• Onsen & Baths The changing area was clean and had a foot massager and a scale. I was a little disappointed that the large public bath had only one indoor tub. There is also a private bath, which you can use for free in the morning.• Facility & Equipment Everything was very clean from the front desk onward, with a space that subtly gave off a Demon Slayer vibe! There is also a table tennis table in the shared area; if you borrow rackets at the front desk, you can play for about 30 minutes per session. There was also a piano available to play freely.• Dining This time we did not add meals. However, all guests could enjoy complimentary drinks such as coffee and Kaga tea (with time limits).• Overall Satisfaction Overall, it was an excellent Ryokan that I was very satisfied with. I would love to visit again! Thank you very much!

Introduction of the Accommodation

History
Over 1300 years ago, a high priest named Gyoki, on his way to train at the sacred Mount Hakusan, was guided by a mysterious purple cloud and discovered a three-legged crow (Yatagarasu) healing its wounds with spring water. This is said to be the origin of Yamashiro Onsen. In 1565 (Eiroku 8), Akechi Mitsuhide visited the Onsen to heal his wounds. During the Edo period, it was used as a healing hot spring by the Maeda clan, the rulers of the Kaga Domain with its million-koku wealth. After the Meiji era, it became beloved by many, including notable figures such as the multi-talented ceramic artist Rosanjin Kitaoji and the poet couple Tekkan and Akiko Yosano, among other literary figures.

The pride of Fujiya lies in its cuisine.
The greatest pride of Fujiya is its "cuisine." At our Ryokan, highly regarded in Yamashiro Onsen, we offer a variety of Kaiseki meals.

Award-winning interior design lobby
Our lobby, which has won awards for its interior design, features eye-catching elements such as a large lantern and a charming garden with a small pool, making it a perfect spot for taking photos. A piano is also available for anyone to use freely. Enjoy music in this relaxing space.

Books at the Onsen Property, 3000 volumes
At the top of the stairs from the lobby, you'll find our library corner. The bookshelves are filled with novels, picture books, magazines, and more. You can immerse yourself in a story, read to your children, or use it as a perfect meeting spot after a relaxing bath.
