As others have mentioned, the exterior has a retro Showa-era feel and may come as a bit of a surprise at first. However, the inside has been renovated in a very charming way, and everything is spotless and well maintained. The interior design is quite unique—perhaps inspired by a luxury cruise ship? The name “Marina” suits it perfectly. The breakfast restaurant offered an amazing view, especially since we had good weather. The food was delicious too—you can make your own mini seafood bowl, and they also serve local specialties. The price was reasonable, and I’d definitely like to stay here again when visiting Sakaiminato.

Although it shows a bit of age, it was so well maintained that it only added to its charm.It was also fun being able to choose from four types of shampoo and conditioner near the front desk.
