The Property nestled along the Akagawa Valley is the birthplace of Shiobara Onsen, featuring its own private hot springs with three types of sulfur springs, including milky white and green hues. Guests can enjoy four baths, including an open-air riverside bath, with free-flowing Onsen water, where the color of the Onsen changes daily for a unique experience. The guest rooms, available in Japanese-style and Japanese-Western style, are equipped with shower toilets and free Wi-Fi. Additionally, we offer the "Pochi Tama Room," where you can stay with your pets. Our handmade dishes, crafted with local ingredients, are also highly praised.
In the peak of summer, when Tokyo reaches a scorching 37°C, we stayed at the accommodation with our dog. Upon arriving at Motoyu Inn, it was pleasantly cool—just 26°C! Truly a summer retreat. Once again, we were able to relax and enjoy the soothing company of the cats. Of course, we also indulged multiple times in our favorite sulfur hot spring baths.

You can interact with the cats, and since our whole family loves them, we were very satisfied. We visited in midsummer, but as a summer retreat, it was very comfortable with temperatures at 26°C even when it was 35°C in the city center. The food made with local ingredients was delicious. The Onsen had excellent water quality, and we were glad to have come here. It was an accommodation that left our entire family very satisfied.
