Safe for solo travelers
The staff were very considerate and supportive, and I truly appreciated it. Not only at the front desk, but also when I brought dishes back they collected them for me, promptly disposed of used slippers and bags, and returned everything neatly. The greetings in the dining area were also courteous and consistent. Overall, I felt they paid close attention to guests and provided thoughtful service.The guest room had well-equipped Facilities, and the cleaning was thorough down to every detail. One point for improvement: while using the Onsen in the room with an open-air bath, bees and insects such as longhorn beetles sometimes flew in or came close. I think it would be helpful to install a movable insect screen (even if only during summer).For meals, semi-private seating was available, so I could dine calmly. Also, when items at the buffet ran out, they were replenished quickly, which was great.

It was wonderful.
Not only were the cleanliness and comfort excellent, but I also felt this was a wonderful Hotel thanks to the staff’s attentiveness, thoughtfulness, and teamwork. As we were traveling with my elderly parents, I contacted the Hotel in advance about a few concerns, and they kindly offered helpful suggestions. On the day of our stay as well, they showed such considerate care and checked in on us so often that I almost felt sorry for troubling them. Although it was a Saturday in the last week of May and I’m sure there were many guests, it was very quiet. There was no crowding at meals or in the baths, and our Room—spotlessly clean—was very comfortable. Even my father, who usually uses an Onsen only once wherever we go, said “My body feels so much lighter!” and went in twice—both evening and morning. We were also very grateful for the private bath. My sister had been avoiding Onsen because she was self-conscious about her surgical scars, but thanks to this stay she was able to enjoy an Onsen again for the first time in a long while, which made her truly happy. Thanks to Itoen, our whole family was able to relax comfortably and have a wonderful time together—we are filled with gratitude. I will strongly recommend it to friends as well! Thank you very much.
