We stayed for one night in August.Even in the high season, being able to stay at this price with both breakfast and dinner included is excellent value for money and very helpful for families. The front desk staff also provided very courteous explanations. The bathing area was a bit small, but overall—including the meals—we were very satisfied. If we have the opportunity, we would like to stay again.

This time we stayed for 3 nights and 4 days: on the first day we took a walk around Nesugatayama; on the second day we enjoyed feeding penguins, dolphins, and fish at the underwater aquarium; and on the third day we took a bay cruise, then enjoyed local fish at the market cafeteria—relaxing and enjoyable without feeling tired. When people think of Izu they often imagine steep slopes, but from Shimoda Station to Peru Street and the traditional Namako walls, we could walk to the Hotel on flat roads while enjoying traces of the past, which was very helpful. The trees in front of the Hotel were fresh and pleasant, and beyond them was the sea—an amazing view. The Onsen was spacious and clean. The meals were good overall, but if I had to ask for more, I would have liked more local fish—though that may depend on balancing it with the price.
