Itoen Hotel Atamikan

This was my first stay here. It’s close to Atami Station, and they kindly stored my luggage even before check-in, which was very helpful. Best of all, the dinner came with an all-you-can-drink plan. There seem to be two Onsen baths; this time I only used the one in the annex, so next time I’d like to try the Onsen in the main building. I really loved the classic Showa-era Hotel vibe. I’d love to come again.

I stayed here for sightseeing in Atami.I chose it right away because of its convenient location near the station and the unbeatable price of 6,000 yen per night for a tourist destination.It’s just a short walk—exit Atami Station and head down the shopping street.The front desk staff were also very polite and helpful.There are Onsen baths in both the main building and the annex, but I recommend the annex as it is more spacious.It’s a bit of a walk to reach the annex elevator, but there is a ramp, so moving luggage wasn’t an issue.The Room amenities—such as a refrigerator, safe, and TV—are comparable to those of a typical Hotel.Checking in at 3:00 p.m., leaving my bags, and then enjoying street food along the shopping street was great.I’d like to stay here again when I visit Atami.
