For Guests Arriving from the Kyushu Area [JR] About 20 minutes by Shinkansen from Hakata Station to Kokura Station. Transfer to a local line at Kokura Station; 2 stops (about 10 minutes) to Shimonoseki Station. [Car] About 15 minutes toward Shimonoseki Station from the Kanmon Tunnel / Chugoku Expressway Shimonoseki IC. *Please pass under the elevated road in the right lane (go straight). (National Route 9 changes its name to National Route 191 toward San’in after passing under the overpass.) [Bus] About 90 minutes by highway bus from Tenjin Bus Center (Fukuoka) to Shimonoseki Station (last stop). For Guests Arriving from the Hiroshima Area [JR] Transfer to a local line at Shin-Shimonoseki Station; 2 stops (about 10 minutes) to Shimonoseki Station. [Car] About 15 minutes toward Shimonoseki Station from Chugoku Expressway Shimonoseki IC. *If you turn off Route 191, you will see Parking Lot No.2. (Turn left when coming from the overpass side, and turn right when coming from the San’in direction.) For Guests Arriving from Airports [Yamaguchi Ube Airport] About 75 minutes by airport bus to Shimonoseki Station (last stop). [Fukuoka Airport] Subway: about 5 minutes (2 stops) to Hakata Station, then transfer to the Shinkansen. By airport bus: about 80 minutes to Kokura Station, then transfer to a local line; 2 stops (about 10 minutes) to Shimonoseki Station. [Kita-Kyushu Airport] Airport bus available to Kokura Station; JR transfer also available.
