The large communal bath and open-air bath with natural Onsen are available separately for men and women. The meals are carefully prepared by the proprietress herself, selecting ingredients to highlight their natural flavors. Enjoy handmade dishes that emphasize both quality and quantity!
I stayed with a breakfast-included plan. The lovely hostess warmly welcomed me and showed me to a clean and charming room, though it was a bit old. Walking through the entrance, I passed a hallway adorned with various antique furnishings, which were truly impressive. The bath was great, but it was a bit disappointing that the open-air bath was unavailable during the morning. Breakfast was carefully prepared dish by dish, with plenty of rice and mushrooms, and it was absolutely delicious. I was also delighted by the warm send-off at the end. This is an accommodation I would love to visit again.

The furnishings have a period drama style, which might feel intimidating, but the room and bath were relaxing, allowing for a good night's sleep. It feels more like an accommodation for adults rather than families. For a no meals included stay during the season, it was reasonably priced. Suitable for those accustomed to old Ryokans in places like Yugawara or Hakone.

Natural Onsen with open-air baths and dishes made from local ingredients are our pride! This is a traditional Japanese-style Ryokan with excellent access to Kurobe Dam and Kamikochi sightseeing. Originally built as a high-class restaurant, you can also enjoy decorations reminiscent of that time. The open-air bath uses "Hōrai stone," which emits far-infrared rays, providing high heat retention and is said to be very effective for beauty and health.
