The moment I stepped into the Japanese-style Room, the fresh tatami scent was wonderful! It must have just been replaced—lucky me. Dinner even included tabletop sukiyaki, which was a pleasant surprise. It was sweet and delicious. I wanted seconds, but there were so many other dishes that I couldn’t manage it. And to top it off, they provided takeout cups and said it was OK to enjoy ice cream in the Room—I happily took some back. The vanilla was amazing. There were also ice pops in the bath area, which surprised me even more.Breakfast was a seafood rice bowl. And yes, I had ice cream again. The sunset view from the Room was beautiful as well. Thank you for taking such great care of us.
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 6/14/2026For the first time in decades, I visited Munakata Taisha Shrine and Miyajidake Shrine, enjoyed the roses at Uminonakamichi Seaside Park, and stayed at Shikanoshima Kyukamura. The ocean was right in front of me, the views were wonderful, the Facility was clean, and I was very satisfied with the wide variety of dishes. On the way home, I stopped by Marine World Aquarium and then drove six hours on the expressway to get back. It was a truly great trip. Kyukamura is a recommended Accommodation.
