The property, located on the southern foothills of Mount Daisen, is surrounded by pristine beech and oak forests, offering a full immersion in nature. The large public bath uses ultra-soft water drawn from 250 meters underground, providing a soothing experience akin to an onsen. All rooms offer breathtaking views of the natural surroundings. Dinner features a course menu plus a half-buffet using seasonal local ingredients, with highlights including exquisite white squid and Matsuba crab. Tottori Prefecture is renowned for its stunning starry skies, and free stargazing events are held from spring to autumn. Situated within a nature reserve, guests can also observe rare plants and flowers.
This was my second stay. The food is simply delicious. It’s also nice that it’s cooler here than down in the city during summer. The amenities were well stocked, which was great. If I had to mention anything, it was a bit inconvenient not having a freezer in the Room, and breakfast gets crowded, so I thought it would be helpful to have seating guidance.
