Feel the four seasons at 1,600 m above sea level and start your day energized with a Shinshu breakfast.
A Resort Hotel located at an altitude of approximately 1,600 meters, offering stunning views of the beautiful Mount Norikura throughout the changing seasons. Enjoy the scenery of fresh greenery, autumn leaves, and snowy landscapes, with convenient access to Kamikochi and Mount Norikura. We offer a variety of guest rooms, including Japanese-style, Western-style, and Japanese-Western hybrid rooms, providing a spacious and relaxing environment. Savor a buffet featuring seasonal ingredients from the Shinshu region, carefully selected by our head chef. At the "Specialty Food Stall Corner," where our chefs prepare dishes right in front of you, enjoy tempura, daily steak specials, and more. Within the building, designed to highlight the rustic charm of wood, you will find an indoor bath with panoramic glass windows and an open-air bath under the starry sky, where you can enjoy Onsen sourced from our private spring.
The Western-style room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. There was a wide variety of dinner options, making it easy to choose. The Shinshu salmon was delicious. The soft-serve ice cream machine was self-serve, and the ice cream was rich and tasty. I’d like to visit again during the autumn foliage season.
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 6/16/2026I stayed here when visiting Norikura Kogen Ski Resort for the first time in 20-something years. The large public bath and open-air bath were wonderfully warming. The buffet had such a wide variety of dishes that I ended up drinking more than I should. The service was also very good. There was stargazing, too.I remember that in the past the slopes were right in front, and you could take the lift up and ski back down—if I’m not mistaken?
