  • Incredibly great value for money.

    I arrived by car, and the Hotel’s location was easy to find. The free surface parking lot is spacious and can be accessed from two directions. I also walked around, and it feels within walking distance from both the private railway and JR stations. At check-in, you can choose a welcome drink ranging from non-alcoholic options to craft beer. Coffee, green tea, and black tea are also available from a dispenser. The large public bath on the 2nd floor has a deep tub where you can stretch out your legs. It is separated by time for men and women, but it’s available in the evening, at night, and in the morning. The restaurant on the 1st floor offers an izakaya-style menu at night and a solid Japanese/Western breakfast in the morning. I had breakfast there; they also had local dishes, which was great. If you want Shizuoka oden, you can buy retort packs at the front desk, and there is a microwave available as well. If you prefer to buy a local bento box meal instead, there’s a shop just across the road. The Room faces an intersection and there’s also a hospital nearby, but it wasn’t noisy at all, and I didn’t notice noise from other rooms either. For this price point, the service felt like excellent value. I’d like to stay here again when I have business in Shizuoka.
