As night falls, streetlights illuminate the town, enhancing the atmosphere of this Onsen resort area even more. Nearby, you’ll find plenty to see and do, including Gassho Village and the Gero Onsen town area where you can enjoy a footbath tour.
I was very satisfied with this Onsen Accommodation surrounded by nature, and there was also a great souvenir shop.
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 8/3/2026The female staff were excellent, but when I said “Good morning” to the older man at the front desk early in the morning, he replied as if it was a hassle. Meals seem to be optional, though I don’t think anyone ordered them. For this type of buffet, it was good. The bath facilities were decent. The water itself is wonderful. Free table tennis, a manga library, and a choice of yukata were great. The parking lot is far, but there is Shuttle Service, so it wasn’t an issue. The building is quite old, but fair for the price. The Onsen water is definitely worthy of being called one of Japan’s three famous hot springs. However, the Onsen town itself feels a bit quiet.
