Tento no Yado Abashiri Kanko Hotel
Hokkaido/Lake AbashiriEnjoy the luxury of watching the sunset and soaking in a hot spring while overlooking Lake Abashiri from an elevated vantage point.
Surrounded by the natural beauty of the famous Mount Tento, this Property is located on a hill overlooking Lake Abashiri. From the open-air bath with a stunning view, you can enjoy a breathtaking sunset over Lake Abashiri, providing a perfect way to unwind from your travels. The alkaline simple Onsen offers various health benefits, including relief from neuralgia, rheumatism, back pain, and cold sensitivity. Guest rooms include both Japanese-Western style and Japanese-style rooms, each offering a spectacular view of Lake Abashiri. Meals feature local ingredients, such as a platter of snow crab legs, sashimi, and the Abashiri specialty Moyoro hot pot. A Japanese-Western breakfast buffet is also available. At the front desk, guests are warmly welcomed, and the lobby and lounge provide a relaxing space to enjoy your stay.
This was my first stay, and the Hotel—welcomed by Hideki Takahashi and his family—offered a wonderful view overlooking Lake Abashiri. While the Facility felt less luxurious than expected, it was still comfortably good overall. Food and drinks were excellent: during happy hour from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm at check-in, we enjoyed draft beer and other beverages along with oden. Dinner is described as a “light dinner buffet mini,” but that’s far too modest—the quality, quantity, and variety were more than sufficient, and on top of that there was an all-you-can-drink option (including draft beer) for 90 minutes, which made us very satisfied. After bathing, there were free massage chairs plus coffee and other soft drinks, and they even offer complimentary late-night soba—truly attentive service in every way. Use of the table tennis table was also free. There’s too much to list, but the baths were clean and well maintained, and all staff members were courteous and helpful. If I have another chance to visit, this is the Hotel I would consider first. Highly recommended!
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 7/31/2026Our family of four traveled to Hokkaido. We were satisfied with the Facility and the bath. In addition to a course meal, there was also a standard buffet, and all-you-can-drink alcohol such as beer. We were very satisfied with the meals. Considering the price, I think it offers excellent value for money.\nWe would like to come again. Thank you for your hospitality.
