Enjoy the onsen hopping experience at the large baths and open-air baths of the adjacent Hotel Koyokan and Hotel Senshukaku, or have fun with your family at the "Table Tennis & Game Corner" for a fulfilling Hanamaki Onsen time.
We stayed at Hotel Hanamaki while visiting Shohei Ohtani’s alma mater during our trip to visit family graves. We stayed for one night from June 24, and we were very happy with the excellent value for money. For dinner, we enjoyed crab, steak, tempura, and a customizable kama-meshi (I chose one loaded with crab). What impressed me most was breakfast—it was easily the best I’ve had among all the places I’ve stayed. There was delicious rice and a wide selection of both Japanese and Western dishes. Even at 65 years old, I was completely satisfied and even went back for seconds—especially for the freshly made omelet, grated yam (tororo), salted seafood (shiokara), mekabu seaweed, minced tuna (negitoro), pickles, and more. We were also able to explore several different baths, and my wife and I made wonderful memories. Thank you very much.

Even with children, we could use the facilities without any worries, and the staff were kind, so we were able to truly relax. When checking out, I passed a member of the cleaning staff, who greeted me with a smile and a pleasant voice—it made me feel great. Every staff member’s conduct was wonderful; it was clear they take pride in their work as part of the Hanamaki Onsen Group. I would love to stay again on my next vacation.

An open-air garden Onsen with a spacious sky. Enjoy the nature of Hanamaki and the Onsen while taking in the breathtaking scenery. Guests staying at Hotel Hanamaki can freely use the large baths of the adjacent Hotel Senshuka and Hotel Koyokan. *No indoor baths or saunas are available. *Closed during winter season.
Hanamaki no Yu
The open-air bath offers a stunning view of the changing seasons amidst rich nature, boasting excellent scenery. A spacious sauna and cold bath are also available. Relax and rejuvenate after a good sweat. Guests staying at Hotel Hanamaki can freely use the large public baths at the adjacent Hotel Senshuka and Hotel Koyokan.
Private Onsen Bath
The Hotel Hanamaki B1F features a "Private Onsen Bath." Relax and stretch your legs in a Shigaraki ceramic bathtub while enjoying the view of a courtyard inspired by the natural beauty of Hanamaki Onsen. Bath towels and face towels are provided, so you can use the facility without bringing anything. ■ Usage Fee (Day-use Bathing): 2,800 yen (tax included) * An additional bathing fee is required: Adults 1,000 yen (tax included), Elementary School Students 500 yen (tax included). ■ Hours: 6:30 AM - 11:00 PM (45-minute bathing time) * Last admission at 10:15 PM. * Reservations are prioritized. Please inquire about availability in advance. * Hours may change due to cleaning or other reasons.
