Spectacular View Inn Asamushi Sakura Kanko Hotel
Aomori Prefecture/Asamushi Onsen・Natsudomari PeninsulaEnjoy the breathtaking views of Mutsu Bay, the melodies of Tsugaru Shamisen, and the flavors of Aomori.
At this property located along the coast, you can enjoy seasonal cuisine while admiring the magnificent views of Mutsu Bay. From all 46 rooms, you can enjoy the scenery of Mutsu Bay and relax in the panoramic bath to soothe your mind and body. Additionally, after dinner, you can enjoy live Tsugaru shamisen performances. The dishes prepared by chefs well-versed in Aomori's cuisine are also one of the attractions.
Due to an approaching typhoon, we couldn’t see the sunset over Mutsu Bay, but the view of Yunoshima from the open-air bath was absolutely wonderful. The meals were also very satisfying, and it became a fun summer memory!!
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 8/13/2026Honestly, I didn’t have very high expectations before my stay, but it turned out to be extremely satisfying.First of all, the ocean view from the Room and the Onsen was wonderful, and I was able to watch a beautiful sunset in the evening. At night, instead of a pitch-black sea, I could see the distant lights of Aomori City, which created a very atmospheric scene. I was able to relax and unwind while quietly gazing out at the calm sea.The building was clean throughout, and my Room had been renovated and was very comfortable. The staff were also kind, which left a strong impression and made my stay truly pleasant. The Tsugaru shamisen show in particular exceeded my expectations—powerful performances that felt uniquely Aomori. For dinner, the pork shabu-shabu felt a little tough to me, but the dishes were thoughtfully prepared overall and offered satisfaction beyond the price. For just over 10,000 yen per person, being able to enjoy this view, the Onsen, the service, and the Tsugaru shamisen show is very appealing. It’s not a flashy luxury Ryokan-style place, but it’s a Hotel I would recommend for anyone who wants to spend quiet time while looking out at the sea.I’d love to visit again and be soothed by seasonal views from both the Onsen and my Room.

Nightly Tsugaru Shamisen live performance
At our facility, we host a live Tsugaru Shamisen performance every evening from 8:30 PM to 8:50 PM as a special treat after dinner. The performer is Michiko Nakano, the 57th Aomori Folk Song Champion in 2011. Please enjoy the heartfelt sounds of Tsugaru and the powerful live performance. *Please note that Michiko Nakano may not be able to perform on certain days due to her performances across The whole country. In such cases, her apprentice will perform as a substitute.*

Truly a 'spectacular view'. Enjoy the charm of Aomori that unfolds with each season.
Our hotel is the only Ryokan adjacent to the shoreline in Asamushi Onsen. Below lies Mutsu Bay, offering a panoramic view of nature that changes with the seasons. As you step into the lobby, Mutsu Bay unfolds like a panorama, and the sea feels within arm's reach. Enjoy the refreshing sea breeze and listen to the sound of the waves while creating memorable moments of your journey.
