In February 2025, Kumamon Rooms opened on the top floor of the South Wing. Enjoy well-equipped bathing facilities, including an exclusive scenic-view Onsen for guests, a large public bath, and private baths (fee required). Our indoor heated pool (swimwear required) is available year-round. The restaurant offers a buffet featuring Aso’s abundant local ingredients.

  • We stayed as a group...

    We stayed as a group of eight—my daughter and six grandchildren. There was a festival-style fair, and the kids were thrilled to use the pool both before and after meals. Above all, the buffet was delicious. We would love to come again with everyone.

  • We had a great time.

    As we did last year, our family of five stayed in the Kumamon Maisonette.All the staff were as friendly and welcoming as ever, and we truly appreciate their warm hospitality. Every dish was delicious, and we enjoyed local ingredients from Kumamoto and Aso while spending a relaxing time together as a family.Once again, we had a very comfortable stay and were extremely satisfied. We look forward to staying again next year.
