    I stayed at Mimatsukan as part of a memorable milestone birthday trip to Ikaho Onsen—my first time visiting!While researching online, I found out there was an open-air bath and that it could be reserved for private use, so I made a Reservation on instinct. After checking in the day before my birthday, I immediately detoxed in the private open-air bath. Then, by chance, I was able to enjoy it privately again first thing on my birthday morning. It was deeply relaxing, and the view—taking in the morning sun while looking out over the mountains—was simply blissful.It was the best possible start, and I was able to spend a truly unforgettable day.Everyone at the front desk was very polite and kind, and both the person who brought our meals and the person who prepared the futon were efficient and wonderful to deal with. Thank you for your warm hospitality.The mochi pork shabu-shabu was unbelievably delicious!Since I also work in customer service, this stay reminded me how important a genuine smile, thoughtful attention to detail, and pleasant service really are.If any of my friends visit Ikaho Onsen, I will definitely recommend your Accommodation. Thank you very much.

On the top floor of our facility, fully renovated in October 2019, is the open-air bath 'Ukigumo,' where you can soak in the Onsen while enjoying a panoramic view of the majestic Joshu mountain range. 'Akagi no Yu,' overlooking the Akagi area, and 'Haruna no Yu,' overlooking the Haruna area, alternate between male and female use. *There are days without alternation depending on the situation. At night, relax and soak while gazing at the sparkling stars up close and feeling the seasonal breeze.

  • The private lounge has been fully renovated! Now open during the day as well!

    Our private lounge, available for exclusive use with no worries, was fully renovated in December 2023 and has been very well received.

    Use it as a table tennis space to enjoy in yukata, or as a karaoke lounge equipped with the latest DAM system.
    Daytime hours (10:00–15:00) are also available.
