The building feels a bit dated, but the Onsen was excellent.The location was great, and we were able to relax at a leisurely pace.The sauna and cold plunge were fantastic.We were able to relax together with our pet dog as well.The meals were delicious.

On top of that, due to an equipment issue with the Room I had reserved, they upgraded me to a Junior Suite, which was fantastic. As other Reviews mention, the Facility does feel dated, but staying in a cottage is quiet and makes for a great night’s sleep. The open-air bath in the Room even had an ocean view—wonderful. The barrel sauna in the large public bath was also very relaxing. The meals were luxurious, with many kinds of sashimi, all-you-can-eat salmon roe, an eel rice bowl, and delicious teppanyaki beef. There was also a beef tongue rice bowl in the morning. The food was slightly different from other Livemax properties, which made it even more enjoyable. I’d love to visit again in another season.
