Senomoto Kogen Hotel

Surrounded by Aso’s great natural scenery, the views were amazing! We were upgraded, so our Room was a Japanese-Western style room with a wonderful view. The food was also excellent—Akaushi roast beef and steak, sashimi, and more—with an all-you-can-drink plan, so we were very satisfied!It was only one night, but we really enjoyed the stargazing walk at night, fireworks, the pool, the massage room, and manga—everything was great. The open-air bath was a bit too bright in the daytime because of the sun, so I’d like some measures for that. I wanted to soak in the open-air bath under the night sky, but I drank too much and fell asleep.The next morning we could even see a sea of clouds—it became a truly wonderful memory!

The staff were very pleasant, and everyone was courteous.The Room was clean and spacious, and the garden view from the Room was also beautiful.It was great to see the azaleas in bloom as well.Since it was the rainy season, we couldn’t see the starry sky, but I’d love to try again if I have another chance!Both the breakfast and dinner buffets offered plenty of local dishes, and everything was delicious.I used the open-air bath while it was still bright after check-in. The view is wonderful, but there is no shade at all, so I found the UV rays on my skin a bit uncomfortable. It would be nice to have some sun protection such as a hat-shaped shade or parasols—especially for women.Overall, it was a Hotel I was very satisfied with!
