A Property located 5 minutes by car from Aso Farmland. It boasts a garden of approximately 10,000 tsubo and high-quality natural onsen flowing directly from the source. There is also a restaurant where you can enjoy beef from our own ranch. We offer a 6-tatami mat Japanese-style room and a twin bedroom, and the Donkoko-yu is proud of its garden open-air bath featuring giant trees and Aso lava rocks.
We were able to relax at the Aso Onsen. Both Dondoko-yu and the Hotel Onsen were great. We also enjoyed the meals, which included alcohol and drinks. We drove from the Yoshinogari Historical Park in Saga Prefecture to Aso, Kumamoto, and then to the Oka Castle Ruins in Taketa City, Oita, and it was comfortable and enjoyable.
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 4/2/2026This time, I stayed here with friends from high school.I felt the Room and amenities were in line with the price. Dondoko-yu is far from the Room, but it was a wonderful bath. Meals are buffet-style, and each dish tasted great—especially the sushi and grilled meat.
